Hello, my name is Vincent.
I have had, and been riding motorcycles for over 30 years. I live with Jennie my wife, my son Adam and daughter Helena who are all avid
Chapter supporters. This February at the AGM I was handed the post of Chapter Director, this is a position that I am very honoured
to accept and do not take lightly. May I take this opportunity to thank you for your overwhelming support, I hope I can fill the role
as well as my predecessors and move the chapter on with some fresh and out of the ordinary ideas.
I have a fantastic committee behind me who are brimming with inspiration and suggestions for the season ahead which I know will
be filled with plenty of things to do and places to visit. I'm positive we will organise many events to amuse everyone in the
winter months as well as the summer.
I am here to work for you, our members, I am your voice at Harley meetings and I'm here to make sure you get the most out of
being a member of this chapter. If you have any concerns no matter how trivial I want to know about them so that I can put things right.
I give you my word that we will have less internal politics and get back to the basics of a bike club, run by bikers, for bikers
and their families. Our main objective is just to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves.
For any new or prospective members reading this page, please try and come along to any of our meetings and make yourself know to
either me, an area rep or, Rodders, our new members rep, or indeed anyone in the club who will point you in the right direction.
I know it can be daunting, walking into a pub full of bikers and not knowing anyone, especially if you're a bit on the shy side,
just think, we have all been there and without that initial step you will miss out on so much fun and a chance of getting involved.
I feel confident that within a few months you will have met many new friends who are always keen to find another riding companion
and within no time at all you will be mucking in with the rest of us and telling your friends of your new extended family.
Have a great year and be careful out there.
V.
